Eight years ago I lost my dear beloved mother. Since then I have retreated into a word of isolation and overeating. To go to the Kingdom Living Conference was a difficult step for me to take. I have long distanced myself from others because of fear and shame. I took the risk and met so many wonderful amazing people. My respect and affection for Jessie has only grown and I thank God for the opportunity to meet other beautiful kindred spirits.

Early Saturday morning I cut myself shaving and the bleeding would not stop. I was still bleeding when I got to the studio. One attendee helped attend to my cut. Another prayed for me to heal. It is as if God put me in a position to have to need people and Him and that He would not disappoint. God does indeed work in mysterious ways.
